just pooped! All this discovery is sooooo exhausting. ;)

So, I was showing Major my collection of old movie magazines dating from late 50's into the 60's that are in a vintage suitcase. So of course, Mr. Winslow had to investigate and make himself comfortable. ;)

The lovely door & window

I love this art deco window in the door. We have windows on both sides of the door, which you can see one in this pic. We get great sunlight throughout the day.

Workstation

This is where all the magic of soldering and metal smithing happens. :)

The Mantel

This is the center of the living room. It's a lovely deco mantel. The fireplace doesn't work. That is a bummer. As you can see there remains a box without a home yet. :) when the picture was taken of course.......... hehe

The Yard

This is the backyard, which is really a side yard. ;) It's been nice getting to know more plant culture. I've always seemed to kill things, so we will see. The grass isn't as happy as I'd like to see it though. The roses I'm not sure are doing well either. But, the rosemary looks good...as does the lavender.

Our kitchen

This is our kitchen. We've done lots of cooking so far. Kevin is a chef, so I'm reaping the benefits! :)

I can't believe that I actually have a little creation zone right outside my window. I've always wanted to be able to do everything in one space....and well.... there you have it! ;) I have a space for beading, metal smithing, sewing, and photography. Pretty cool. My camera can't do a wide enough angle. Just before the curtain on the left is a bed for visitors! Hint... Hint....
